Adopt A Pro-Active Policy

Associate Fellow, IDSA and currently Visiting Professor and Chair (India Studies), Department of Political Science and Public Administration, University of Dar-es-Salaam, Dr Anand Kumar’s article on Pakistan, titled ‘Adopt A Pro-Active Policy’ was published in the April 2019 issue of Defence and Security Alert (DSA).

Analysing India’s approach towards terrorism in Pakistan the article insists that India has to take the lead in defeating Pak-sponsored terror and other hostile designs. This would require India to follow a proactive Pakistan policy. The present policy of reacting to Pakistan with some retaliatory strikes after Pak-sponsored terror would only have limited impact.
