Background
An alumnus of Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Lt Col, Sanjiv Tomar was commissioned into the Corps of EME in 1989. The officer has had varied operational and service experience of over 24 years in operational and maintenance management of wide range of Military equipment. The officer has commanded three Independent Specialized Workshops in various sectors. He has held a Grade I General Staff appointment in Electronics and Mechanical Engineering School, Vadodara and has also served as Joint Director (Planning) at Directorate General of Quality Assurance (Electronics), New Delhi. The officer is a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), USA.
